Kiloview Cradle Series RF02, the flagship rack-mounted media platform from Kiloview, is your ultimate media management center. Within its 2RU high-density structure, the RF02 supports flexible configuration of up to 18 card modules, enabling encoding, decoding, media gateway, bonding, etc. Its modular design replaces the clutter of multiple standalone devices with a streamlined, unified solution, providing the most complete and lightweight AV-over-IP solutions for broadcast-grade production, medical imaging transmission, remote education, live event streaming, and more.

The RF02 provides three 10Gbps SFP+ fiber Ethernet interfaces and one 10Gbps RJ45 Ethernet interface, ensuring effortless handling of high-bandwidth NDI streams.

Equipped with a built-in 1G/2.5G network switch module that interconnects all module cards, RF02 supports a full range of capabilities including encoding, decoding, NDI conversion, media gateway, bonding, etc.

RF02 streamlines the data flow within the platform, eliminating the need for external network switches. This setup not only reduces setup complexity and costs but also enhances the reliability of data transfer.

Centralized Management with KiloLink Server Pro

RF02 is powered by an ARM64 main controller running a customized version of Kiloview’s KiloLink Server Pro, purpose-built for this platform. It enables automatic discovery, monitoring, and configuration of all module cards through a unified interface.

With media gateway card FMG-400, RF02 can serve as an on-premise server for Kiloview’s P Series 4G/5G wireless bonding encoders, providing secure and reliable remote device and bonding management. Paired with a decoding card, it can seamlessly output remote video streams to SDI or HDMI at various resolutions.

The platform automatically identifies and manages all workflow streams, allowing users to monitor status, assign sources, and configure settings with ease—greatly reducing manual effort while ensuring stable, low-latency transmission.
