Tascam TA-1VP
The heart of any great song is a great vocal sound. The Tascam TA-1VP combines the world-renowned Auto-Tune Pitch Correction and TEC-Award-winning Microphone Modeler technologies with state-of-the-art vocal processing modules to give you everything you need to create stunning vocal tracks in any musical style.
Live or in the studio, the TA-1VP lets you instantly select from a large library of sounds. Factory presets are included for a wide variety of vocal styles and the interface makes it easy to create your own signature sounds. Given the power and flexibility of the processing modules, there is also a selection of presets for instrumental and percussion tracks available. And MIDI control in realtime makes the TA-1VP a perfect companion for automated mixing environments.
AUTO-TUNE EVO – Pitch correction in real time
The award-winning Auto-Tune Evo technology can eliminate distorted audio or other artifacts, and correct the pitch of your instrument or vocal automatically. All settings can be recalled through presets on the front panel or through MIDI control. Balanced TRS input and outputs are located on the rear panel, including a Double Track output for simulating doubled vocals. An SPDIF digital output is also provided. With a slight pitch correction adjustment, the recorded vocal becomes more focused as if the mic has been upgraded. In addition to this, the level can be adjusted – without distortion – to compliment the track with user-defined sound characteristics.
25 pitch scale presets are available for pitch correction
The TA-1VP allows pitch correction to be adapted to the chromatic scale of your recording by adjusting the Speed parameter. Every parameter can be saved as preset.
Mono or stereo double-tracking function
You can automatically mix a double-track into the main output, or route it to a separate output for a wide variety of vocal styles. The TA-1VP is built for virtually every audio application from live performance to studio mix-down. And it is the only hardware processor with Auto-Tune technology for flawless vocal intonation.
Auto-Pitch adjustment using the channel strip section
Refine your vocal sound using the vocal processorʼs effective dynamic engine. Options include Hi-pass Filter, Compressor, Gate, De-esser and Parametric EQ.
Built-in high-definition microphone preamp
The TA-1VP has the same input circuitry as the Tascam Professional Digital Mixing Consoles DM-4800 and DM-3200, and the internal microphone preamp has been designed to perform with a variety of microphone types – dynamic and condenser – to deliver high-quality audio. The front-panel XLR microphone input offers switchable phantom power.
Antares Microphone Modeler Technology to emulate various high-end microphones
The Microphone Modeler Technology by Antares is a TEC Award winner. Its source mic and modeling mic enable you to choose the sound characteristic from various popular microphone models to meet your satisfaction while performing or recording. The TA-1VP can give your vocal tracks the characteristics of a variety of high-end studio microphones. Utilize the extensive collection of factory presets that simulate many vocal styles. The analogue tube modelling is also available to give your vocal tracks the warmth of a classic tube preamp.
